Welcome to GoodBye Eddie Productions, where passion for filmmaking and storytelling brings us together. Joseph and Kate, the original founders, first connected in the vibrant environment of Murphy House Productions, inspired by the shared house that brought them together. With Joseph's expertise in writing and cinematography paired with Kate’s rich background in visual arts and photography, they spent years developing their unique artistic voices. This journey evolved into GoodBye Eddie Productions, our creative sanctuary for films, podcasts, photography, and even journalism.
With the recent addition of Anya, our energetic third head managing post-production, we've found the missing ingredient to enrich our team. As a dedicated film school student, Anya brings fresh perspectives that enhance our projects, completing our trio of creativity. We are all geared up to release our upcoming films, embark on the pre-production of our first feature, and tackle creative challenges that lie ahead. Join us on this exciting journey, where every project is a labor of love and a testament to collaborative artistry.
Collaboration is key at GoodBye Eddie productions, no one voice is louder or more important. We like to tell stories some others might try to avoid, while holding a gender Neutral perspective on youth within a world covered in all its icky realness.
Films
Cinema encompasses all artistic mediums. At GoodBye Eddie Productions, we find the greatest joy in storytelling. Currently, we have a handful of films in circulation, which have gained entry into over a dozen film festivals. Additionally, we are in post-production on a couple more.
Photography
The three of us hold completely different philosophies when it comes to photography. Kate is a perfectionist who loves to paint a detailed and dense picture within her frame, while Joseph prefers the candid, 'warts and all' approach of simply capturing a photo. While Anya thrives in a documentary focused environment.
Podcast
Joseph has been the host, editor, and producer of the MovieButts Podcast since 2019. Alongside Dane McDowell, Joseph consistently strived to release a fully developed, edited, and curated episode every week. Tragically after Dane fell down a manhole and died, the podcast was retired but later revived and retitled to MovieButts Lives! Exciting developments are on the horizon as we prepare to transition into the visual medium! Find us on any reputable podcast platform.
